OK, so it’s Thursday. Tomorrow is the last day of the month and I have 8795 words to go. This week has been slow because I’m playing a band gig tonight and we’ve had practices every night this week. On top of that, there have been some other personal things going on which have made it tough to find writing time. The good news, though, is that I can finish the book tomorrow night before midnight. I know I can. One last epic sprint. I’ll be able to probably squeeze another 2,000 words out today and I’ll be under 7,000 words for my Friday night finale. I have the rest of the plot mapped out, the lion’s share is done, I’m going to finish this damn thing, I know it.
