I got this software called Delicious Library. It lets you scan your books into your Mac using a digital video camera as a barcode reader. It’s slick. It goes online and downloads all the book info for you. It allows you to manage your books with check-ins and check-outs and also works for video games, DVDs, CDs, basically any media you have.
Anyhow, I haven’t got everything scanned in quite yet, but I used it to produce these phenomenally cool PDF files (ZIPped to save space) of the books that I happen to have on the shelves in my living room…
