The bus was really late this morning. Kind of nice actually, because it gave me lots of time to work on the business plan questionnaire for Tumblur. It’s really long and comprehensive. I’ve got 9 pages already and I’m not even halfway through the questions. Man, making people want to give you a bunch of money is hard work…

In other news, last night I made two new things for the NG site. First, a form for people to signup for a mailing list (snail mail) so we can send people postcards and comp CDs and various free junk like that. I hope some people sign up for the list. The more exciting of the things I did last night though was to create one of those selector tests for the NG site. “If You Were a Nuclear Gopher Artist Who Would You Be?” Finally people can answer that terribly important question. Are you Reed? Eric? Lavone? Steve? Kloey? Daytrip? You won’t know unless you take the test. Now, you’re wondering why there is no link to the test here… Well, I am not ready to make the test live yet. BUT today I will, at some point, and then everybody will come and play at the site. Weeee!!!

I talked to Reed last night about the new Kloey album being available in Cheapos (you can pick it up now at Eclipse Records in St. Paul). Apparently it’s going to get the full treatment, posters, endcaps, listening stations, the works. It’s going to be a Kloey-fest at all Cheapos locations next week. That’s good news. Oh yeah, and I anticipate that kloey will be on Radio K’s “Off the Record” show on Friday (which is broadcast on Friday afternoons on 770 AM in the Twin Cities or over the web at www.radiok.org. So, tune in Friday if you want to hear some Kloey on the radio. Yesterday I got an email from a DJ in Australia who has been playing Kloey on 88.5 FM in Sydney. She’s excited to be getting the new CD (and the old one) and says she’ll do her best to promote NG in Sydney. I think that’s great. There is also a whole ton of other stuff going on from a Kloey CD standpoint, but I don’t want to write any more about it right this moment.

This morning when I got on the shuttle bus, there was this awful 9/11 tribute thing playing on the radio with snippets of George Bush talking over Enya music. I am so glad I was not a victim of that day (as are we all) but if I was I would not want my memory commemorated by Enya and GW. That is just annoying, not moving. It is really hard to believe it has been a year. I had a journal entry from 9/12 and I think I will go back and read it today, but I don’t need any reminders to relive that day. It’s in my brain, permanently. I will never ever forget anything about that day. Will any of us?

At work today things will be strange, with the company putting on a big push towards commemoration. I think that is nice but other than the bus being late this morning, everything is the same today as it was yesterday. I’m just glad I brought a radio to listen to today so I could drown out Enya and Bush and my laptop so I wouldn’t have to think to heavily. So far Radio K hasn’t said anything about the event and I’m OK with that.
