i just found out today that I will be able to go to a Twins game for free through work next week. That pretty much rocks. I am extremely excited about that. All I have to do is take a little vacation time and go to some sort of seminar or something. Yee-hah!

Today was really really busy. In fact, most days have been this week. I am kinda swamped. I don’t mind so much except that I haven’t been able to find time to work on Tumblur and that really is far more important than my day job. I have motivation to work on it again now that I did my album and now that the new Nuclear Gopher site is coming along. It isn’t launched yet, but it will be very soon and that makes me happy. Anyhow, I’m really sick of work. I know I have a pretty good job as far as jobs go, but I really just don’t care about it is all. No passion.

Loose Knit Cinema is at it again, James and Jennifer and Manda and I have shot footage for a new fake horror movie trailer. I have to do the video editing. I am going to try to make it look really realistic. Not like, gory or anything, but just really accurate to the style of real movie trailers. I heard that the Chicago folks really liked “Press 1 Now” and “Strange Bedfellows” so that is way cool. Of course, I also heard that certain of them ripped on the very Mac computers that were used to make said films… for shame for shame…

Speaking of Macs (and I can because it’s my journal and I can write whatever I want) next Wednesday is MacWorld NY and I’m wondering what kinda stuff will be announced there. I am also contemplating taking a little foray out of the office down to the Apple Store to watch the Jobs keynote live. That was fun when I was there when they announced the new iMac. It’s like being called back to the mothership.

Last night was by far the grossest dog experience I have ever encountered. I was in bed, watching TV. Manda was sitting next to me. Steve (our dog, a mini-dachshund) was lying under the covers resting his head in my lap. Suddenly, I felt him acting like he was about to vomit. I pulled the covers up and saw that he was just about to let ‘er rip right on my crotch. This would not be good, since I liked the pants I was wearing and I don’t like dog puke. Anyhow, so I picked him up and ran him into the bathroom where he proceeded to part with about half his own body weight. It was unbelievable. It was so bad that Manda and I almost threw up ourselves. So, I ran for paper towels and Steve went back in the bedroom. Manda told me to get him and keep him off the carpet. As I reached for him he figured he was in trouble and started to pee all over the place. On the carpet and on a really nice throw pillow that Manda had made. Goodbye pillow (joining the comforter he pooped on in the trash). While I cleaned that up and helped with the vomit, Steve proceeded to go over to his bed and vomit again, another massive amount. He did it two more small times before he finally stopped. Why all this? He had apparently eaten a pack of matches. By the time all the upchucking and urinating was done, our bedroom was a disaster, our dog was, well, in the doghouse and both of our appetites were destroyed. And then… the cat threw up too. I think she was partaking in the feast of matches as well… But she only threw up once, and it wasn’t that bad.

The lesson learned…. keep the matches away from the dog… I wish there was a better lesson, but that’s the only one I can come up with…

Just thinking about it makes me feel sick again…

Tonight, I hope for better things. Tonight is American Idol on Fox… Yeah!!!! I know, I’m a dolt. I like Dawson’s Creek too… so shoot me.
